The Braille Literacy Project for Blind Students aims to revolutionize the education of visually impaired children across five schools in Karnataka by introducing Annie Smart Classes. This initiative, led by Rotary Bangalore North West, will provide 50 Annie devices—innovative tools designed to enhance Braille literacy through interactive audio-guided content. These devices will independently equip students with the skills to read, write, and type in Braille, significantly improving their learning outcomes and future employment prospects. By addressing the lack of modern Braille teaching tools and special educators, this grant will empower 486 blind students, fostering greater inclusion and opportunities for the visually impaired.
